Observing shopper behaviour and intercepting at the moment of truth
Why do we use the Shop+Stop approach?
It’s incredibly difficult for consumers to recall, with any accuracy, the factors which determine their shopping behaviour when they are making product and brand choices in store. With the Shop+Stop approach, we avoid the need to rely on recall by capturing shoppers at the ‘moment of truth’.
How does the Shop+Stop approach work?
This shopper ethnography technique encompasses observing natural shopping behaviour in-store at the fixture; providing category, product and brand insights. Intercepting shoppers enables us to explore real-time shopper decision-making with the advantage of referencing brands and products that are ‘in-basket’.
